Gold Sword Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Mutsu, Iwate Prefecture, dedicated to Gold Sword deity, a local kami believed to have the power of protecting travelers and fishermen. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Edo period style, with a distinctive golden sword-shaped roof. Visitors can admire the shrine's beautiful gardens and experience the local culture during the annual Mutsu Gold Sword Festival in July.
