Miyagi

Subo-yama Shrine, located in the city of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Futsunomiya Hachiman, known as Futsu-san. The shrine's architecture reflects its origins during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), with a main hall built from dark wood and a vermilion torii gate. The shrine complex also features several smaller shrines and a large boulder believed to be the ancestral home of Futsu-san.
