Dayeh Jinja, a Shinto shrine in Tokyo's Setagaya ward, is dedicated to the kami of the same name. The shrine is believed to be one of the oldest temples in Japan, with records dating back to 718 CE. According to legend, Dayeh was a powerful and wise kami who possessed magical powers.

Cultural notes
