亀井神社

Located in the city of Tokorozawa, 亀井神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Inazuma no Kami, the god of lightning and thunder. The shrine's architecture reflects its historical significance as one of the oldest shrines in Saitama Prefecture, with a main hall built in the 17th century. Visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture by participating in the annual Wakamiya Festival in May, which celebrates the arrival of spring with rituals, dances, and offerings to the kami.
