Located in the heart of Hakodate, Hokkaido, Otamoyashiro Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the god of good luck, prosperity, and fertility. This vermilion-colored shrine is famous for its iconic 'tanuki' statue, which is said to be a symbol of good fortune.
