Hasedori-jinja Shrine is dedicated to the Shitennō, a group of four deities said to have descended from the sun goddess Amaterasu. The shrine's architecture reflects the regional style characteristic of the Tottori region. While not as well-known as other shrines in Japan, Hasedori-jinja has a rich history and is still revered by locals for its association with the Shitennō.

Cultural notes
The shrine is famous for its association with the legend of the Tottori Kishū, a tale of a young woman who prayed to the Shitennō for the safe return of her lover. The shrine also hosts an annual Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival in spring, which attracts locals and visitors alike.
