Visitor tip
Visit the shrine's adjacent Odori Park to see the stunning autumn foliage and take a moment to pray at the Inari Okami statue, which is adorned with thousands of colorful paper offerings (emakimono).
Cultural notes
Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, famous for its vermilion torii gates, has no direct connection to White Stone Fushimi Inari Shrine. However, both shrines share a common patron deity, Inari Okami, revered as the god of rice and fertility.
