Shiga

Located in the city of Echizen, Fukui Prefecture was moved to its current location in Shiga Prefecture in 1879. The shrine enshrines the Shinto kami of the confluence of the Echizen and Katsuta rivers, and is dedicated to the worship of the local deity who controls water and agriculture. The shrine's main hall is a wooden structure with a tiled roof, typical of traditional Japanese architecture.
