Located in the city of Fujieda, Shuzenji's sister shrine to the famous Shuzenji Temple, Nariokuni no okami (the eight-headed god) is enshrined at 楠神社. The shrine was built in 1653 during the Edo period, during which time it became a popular destination for pilgrims seeking good luck and prosperity.楠神社 is also known as 'the shrine of the Japanese cedar tree,' which is said to have been planted by the deity's own hand.
