Located in Osaka, Ishichiji-hachiman-miya Shrine is dedicated to Hachiman Okami, the Shinto god of war and patron deity of the samurai class. This shrine was originally built as a memorial for Emperor Tenji's victory over the Korean kingdom of Silla. The shrine's unique architectural style, featuring a rectangular main hall with a tiled roof, reflects its historical significance during the Heian period (794-1185 CE).
