Located in the city of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Seiryu-ji Shrine is one of Japan's oldest Shinto shrines. Dedicated to the god Seiryu, it was originally built as a temple in 718 and later converted into a shrine in the Kamakura period.
