Seto Inari Shrine, located in Kyoto, is dedicated to the Shinto god of rice, fertility, and prosperity. The shrine complex is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates leading up the mountain, each representing a business or wish of an individual who has prayed at the shrine.

Cultural notes
Seto Inari Shrine is closely tied to the mythology surrounding the fox spirit, Inari Okami. According to legend, Inari was a Shinto deity who took on the form of a fox and was revered for his power to bring prosperity and good fortune.
