吉野神社

Giyu no kami, the god of the river and fertility, is enshrined at Gyuu no Shrine in Shiga Prefecture. Located near the Katsura River, the shrine is dedicated to the worship of local kami who are believed to protect the area from natural disasters. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design, with a tiled roof and sliding doors made of hinoki cypress wood.
