Located in the city of Akashi, Hyogo Prefecture, Bagu River Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Inari Ōkami. Cultural notes

Bagu River Shrine is closely associated with the mythology of Inari Ōkami, who is said to have a special affinity for rice and agriculture. During the annual Tanabata festival, visitors can participate in a 'love letter writing' ceremony where they tie their wishes onto bamboo sticks.
