Tōgū-en is a Shinto shrine located in the Kamakura region of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Dedicated to the sea god Ryūjin, the shrine is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens. Cultural notes

The shrine was rebuilt during the Edo period (1603-1867 CE) after it was destroyed by a fire.
