Located in Osaka, 猿田彦神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god Hikoboshi, also known as Sakahiko. According to legend, Hikoboshi was a mortal who fell in love with his sister-in-law and was killed by his wife's family. His spirit now watches over those who are separated from their loved ones, particularly during the autumnal equinox. The shrine is famous for its stunning autumn foliage and traditional architecture.
