Located in the city of Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, Big Six Deity Shrine is one of Japan's oldest and most important Shinto shrines. Built in 718 AD during the Asuka period, it has been a revered site for over 1,400 years. The shrine is dedicated to the six primary kami: Raijin (God of Thunder), Inazuma (Heavenly Lightning), Ryujin (Dragon God), Susanoo-no-Kami (Storm God), Hikoboshi (Ghost Husband), and Fujin (Wind God).

Visitor tip
