Located in the Izu Peninsula of Shizuoka Prefecture, the Aisai Shrine is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu Omikami and is famous for its beautiful garden and unique architectural style. The shrine was originally built in the 7th century during the Asuka period, but it has undergone several renovations and expansions over the centuries. It is particularly notable for its traditional Japanese-style architecture and beautiful gardens, which are said to have been designed by famous landscape architect Koichiro Yoshino.
