Gosakikai Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, renowned for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture. Dedicated to the deity Gosakikai no Okami, the shrine is believed to have been established during the Nara period (710-794 CE). The shrine's main hall, the Honden, features a striking vermilion paint job and a unique hira-zukuri architectural style. Historical note
