Located in the town of Echizen, Echizen Ichigaya Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Inari Okami, the patron deity of rice and industry. Dedicated to the prosperity of the local community, the shrine is known for its impressive stone walls and beautiful gardens. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese style, with a wooden torii gate and a large main hall. The shrine is also famous for its unique festival tradition, which includes a ritual called 'tsutsumi', where visitors tie ribbons to the pillars of the shrine to wish for good luck and prosperity.

Visitor tip
