Located in the Fushimi-ku district of Kyoto,佐奈部神社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami of the same name, believed to be the guardian deity of the city and its people. The shrine's architecture reflects the traditional Japanese style of the Edo period, with a large torii gate and a wooden main hall. According to legend, 佐奈部神社 was built in 1499 by a local daimyo, who sought the kami's protection against enemies.
