Town's deity, Tsukuyomi, is enshrined at this shrine, which has been an important stop for travelers and traders since the 17th century. The shrine was rebuilt in 1685 after a fire destroyed the original structure. It features a unique architecture style known as 'Edo-zuka' with its distinctive multi-tiered gatehouse.
