Located in the city of Omi, Shiga Prefecture, Ninno-ji Shrine is one of Japan's oldest and most sacred Shinto shrines. Dedicated to the Eight-headed Kappa kami, Ninno-ji-san is said to offer good luck, prosperity, and protection from evil spirits. The shrine complex includes several smaller shrines dedicated to various regional deities, including the Inari Okami and the Hachiman kami.

Visitor tip
