Miyagi

Dayo-ji Shrine, located in the heart of Sendai City, is one of Japan's most famous and historic Shinto shrines. Dedicated to the god Inari Okami, the primary enshrined deity is Inari, known as the patron god of rice, industry, and fertility. The shrine's architecture reflects its role as a center for local industry, with traditional buildings featuring tatami floors, sliding doors, and paper walls adorned with vermilion lacquer.
