Saitama

Located in the town of Kato in Saitama Prefecture, the West Village Shrine is a small Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of agriculture and fertility, Sakae no Kami. The shrine's architecture is a prime example of traditional Japanese temple style, with a tiled roof and wooden beams. While its history dates back to the Edo period, the current structure was rebuilt after World War II.
