愛宕神社

愛宕神社 is a Shinto shrine located in the heart of Saitama Prefecture, dedicated to the kami Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period style, with a traditional Japanese garden and a vermilion torii gate. According to legend, the shrine was founded during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), possibly by the Fujiwara clan.
