Godai Jingu is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture. Dedicated to the gods Godai and Oihi, it is one of Japan's most famous shrines and an important pilgrimage site. The shrine complex includes two main halls, with the Haiden dedicated to Godai and the Honden dedicated to Oihi. Cultural notes
