Shiga

Located in the city of Nagahama, Saga God Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the god of good fortune and victory. The shrine was originally built during the Kamakura period as a sacred site for the Yagyū clan, who were prominent samurai families in Japan. Over time, the shrine has undergone several renovations and expansions, with its current structure dating back to the 18th century.

Visitor tip
