The Tōdaiji Shrine in Okayama Prefecture is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu, as well as other deities. The shrine's name, 戎 大黒 火産霊社, translates to 'Fusen no Okami no Mikoto' which refers to the primordial deity of fire and darkness, Fusen no Okami. This shrine is known for its large wooden gate, the Tōdaiji-mon, and its unique architectural style inspired by Nara period traditions.
