Cultural notes
Tsukuyomi-no-kami is the deity of the moon and is often depicted with a bow. The shrine is also famous for its traditional festivals, including the 'Hoshizora Matsuri' (Moon Festival), which celebrates the full moon. The shrine's torii gate has been rebuilt multiple times due to damage from natural disasters.
