Located in the heart of Shiga Prefecture, Fushimi Inari Taisha is one of Japan's most famous Shinto shrines dedicated to the god of rice, fertility, and prosperity, Inari Okami. The shrine complex features a stunning vermilion torii gate that marks the entrance to the shrine grounds. Visitors can hike up hundreds of vermilion torii gates that form a tunnel up the mountain, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scenery.
