The shrine's primary kami is Ōjin, the mythical Emperor of Japan and the patron deity of northern regions. According to legend, the shrine was built on the site where the emperor's spirit was said to have appeared. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design, with a simple yet elegant wooden structure. Visitors can experience the tranquility of nature by walking through the surrounding forest, which is said to be inhabited by Ōjin's sacred animals.
