Inari Okami is revered for its benevolence and protection. The shrine is famous for its 'five-story pagoda' which was donated by Emperor Meiji's son, Crown Prince Yoshihito in 1889. During the spring equinox festival, 'Setsubun', visitors throw soybeans to ward off evil spirits.
