Godai Shrine, located in Agemo, Niigata Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of agriculture and fertility, known as Godai or Kamadozaki. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese design, with a vermilion gate (torii) and wooden structures, typical of Niigata's regional style. While not as well-known as other shrines in Japan, Agemo's Godai Shrine remains an important cultural landmark for the local community.
