Located in the city of Shunan, Tottori Prefecture, Tenryū-ya Hachiman-gu is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Hachiman, the god of war. Founded in 1867, it is one of the few shrines in Japan that enshrined the god of war during the Edo period. The shrine is known for its traditional architecture and stunning natural surroundings.

Visitor tip
For visitors, we recommend purchasing a special ticket to access the main hall, which requires climbing 142 stone steps. Bring water and snacks, as services are limited at the top.
