Located in the Seto Inland Sea, the Katsurahashihoninari Shrine is one of Japan's most famous Shinto shrines. Dedicated to Katsurahashihoninari, a kami worshipped as the god of fertility and prosperity, this shrine is a prime example of traditional Japanese architecture. Visitors can admire its iconic torii gate, which appears to be floating over the sea due to the natural erosion of the land.
