Tottori

Located in the town of Shimosato, Tottori Prefecture, Ō-kemmyō-jinsha is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of agriculture and industry, Kemmyō. The shrine is famous for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture, reflecting its role as an important center of commerce and industry in the region. Founded during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), the shrine has been rebuilt several times due to fires and natural disasters, with the current building dating back to the Kamakura period (1185-1333 CE).
