Flahanshōjin Temple, located in the Akita Prefecture, is a small Shinto shrine dedicated to the worship of Ryūjin, the god of the sea and storms. The temple's architecture reflects the traditional style of a Japanese shrine, with a tiled roof and a vermilion gate. According to local legend, the shrine was built by Ryūjin himself during the Heian period (794-1185 CE).
