Located in the town of Miya, Izu Peninsula, Mikawa Shrine is a Shinto shrine that has been enshrined since the 7th century. Dedicated to the god of the sea and fertility, it is said to have been built by Emperor Jimmu's sister, Princess Nakamimi. The shrine complex features a large torii gate and several small shrines dedicated to various regional kami, including the famous Kamakura Shrine. Visitors can enjoy stunning ocean views from its grounds.
