Located in the town of Katsuyama, Fukui Prefecture, Ōishi-no-Ma no Mimiya is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Okuninushi, a kami revered for his role as a god of health and good fortune. The shrine's architecture reflects its historical significance as a key destination on the pilgrimage route, the Nakasendo, which connected Kyoto with Tokyo.

Cultural notes
