大森神社

Tottori

大森神社, located in the coastal town of Yonago, Tottori Prefecture, is one of Japan's oldest Shinto shrines, dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE). Dedicated to the kami of the forest and mountains, the shrine is a prominent cultural and historical landmark in the region. Its beautiful architecture reflects the traditional Japanese style of the Kamakura period (1192-1333 CE), with a large torii gate and a serene garden.
