楠原稲荷 Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The shrine is dedicated to the deity Inari Okami, revered as the patron of rice and fertility. Built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), the shrine's main hall, Hondo, features a unique wooden construction style characteristic of Kamakura-era temples. The shrine complex also includes several smaller shrines, including one dedicated to the local kami of the area, Kuchisake-onna.

Visitor tip
To fully experience the shrine's serene atmosphere, visit during the autumn foliage season (mid-November to mid-December) and take a stroll through the adjacent Nishinomiya Park.
Cultural notes
As an important center for rice cultivation in the region, Inari Okami is often invoked by farmers seeking bountiful harvests. The shrine also hosts an annual Rice Viewing Festival (, gohan no mita) in October, where visitors can offer prayers and blessings to ensure a successful harvest.

The current shrine was rebuilt in 1613 CE following a devastating fire.
