瀧谷神社

Tatsuyama Shrine, located in Niigata Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of the waterfall and mountain. The shrine's name, 瀧谷神社, translates to 'waterfall valley shrine'. According to local legend, the shrine was built on the site where the local villagers would worship the water spirit that flowed from the nearby waterfall. Today, visitors can still see the shrine's traditional architecture and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding mountains and waterfall.
