Located in Higashi-Musashino, Saitama Prefecture, but the original shrine was actually built at Sagami Bay in Kanagawa Prefecture and moved to its current location in Shinagawa Ward of Tokyo (where it was reconstructed) during Edo period. Dedicated to the kami of the area's ruler, Nametsuhime, a legendary princess from the Taira clan who died at sea. The shrine is famous for its beautiful cherry blossom trees, particularly the large sakura tree standing under the main hall.
