Located in the Omi region of Shiga Prefecture, Dayotsu Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu (Himikawa no Tsukiyomi no Kami), and is also associated with the god of the sea, Ryujin. Cultural notes
