Izu Kōshinbō-shrines, including Izu Okuninushi Shrine in Shizuoka Prefecture, are dedicated to the god of agriculture and fertility, Okuninushi. Visitor tip

Visit during cherry blossom season ( late March to early April) for a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji against the blooming cherry blossoms.

Cultural notes
