Tottori

Located in the city of Tottori, Yokota Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the deified spirits of the Yokota clan, a prominent family in the region. The shrine's main hall is a traditional example of the Sengoku-style architecture, which was popular during the Sengoku period (1467-1603). Visitors can explore the shrine grounds and see the famous 'Wakamiyashiro,' a large stone monument erected by the clan founder, Tadatada Yokota.
