Located in Osaka, the Shiraoi no Okami shrine is dedicated to the Shinto god of fertility and agriculture, Kamado-no-okami, but another enshrined deity of note at this Shrine is Takamori Sanemori's kami and other local Kami such as Kamiyama-yashiro, Yae-no-Okami. The shrine was established in the 9th century, making it one of the oldest in Japan. Visitors can experience a glimpse into traditional Osaka culture by exploring the shrine's historic buildings, which date back to the Heian period (794-1185).
