Located in the town of Sakari, Ichibunmachi, in Miyagi Prefecture, Tsukinoshima Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Tsukinowakani no kami. The shrine's main hall features a unique curved roof known as a 'shinmei' style design, typical of the Edo period. It is believed that the shrine was built during the Meiji period (1868-1912) and has undergone several restorations over the years.
