Located in Osaka's heart, the Yokota-yashima Hachiman Shrine is a historic Shinto site dedicated to the revered deity Hachiman, patron of samurai warriors and the wind god. The shrine was founded during the Nara period (710-794 CE) by Emperor Tenji, and its architecture reflects the Heian style.
